    Easily one of my favorite indian restaurants in the city. the portion sizes are huge and prices are reasonable. We ordered takeout on a tuesday night and it was available for pickup within 30 minutes. super friendly service. Food was piping hot when we got it: - chicken tikka masala: plenty of chicken and very creamy sauce - saag paneer: really liked the thick texture and consistency! also creamy and very filling - chicken tandoori: spicy and a little drier than the other dishes but this one had the most noticeable spice kick that I think the others didn't have as much - lamb biryani: this was my favorite. super flavorful, lamb wasn't gamey at all, full of flavor and i really liked the thick potato chunks inside as well - basmati rice: huge portion size but a great side for the tikka masala and saag paneer sauces - garlic naan, cheese naan: warm and fluffy, paired so well with the curries. garlic naan had a prominent garlic taste. the cheese naan was our favorite! first time having it and it was delicious We ordered for 5 people and had plenty of leftovers at the end. highly recommend this spot and will 100% be back again!

    Wow. I had been longing for some Indian food so I ordered from Pakwan. Somasa, Garlic Naan, and Lamb Biryani arrived hot and fresh with a mouthwatering aroma. Fresh and well-seasoned it was a meal of great delight. The large servings with chutney did not disappoint. If I could I would eat here every day!

    I crave this place all the time. Luckily they have 2 locations in sf. There is always a cool vibe at the 16th one where I normally go and they have the best freshly made food! I love the garlic naan and tandoori options but everything is good.
